We have diamonds!

Yes they are tiny. 500um to 700um. Big thanks to Adamas Nanotechnologies for providing these NV center diamonds. This is the hardest component in the kit to obtain. Sure, its only a sample, but it at least gets us started with prototyping a low cost NV center quantum magnetometer kit.

While we are on the topic of diamonds. We have another avenue in the works:

  1. get cheap nitrogen doped diamonds on Alibaba

  2. find a low cost irradiation facility

  3. find an oxygen free annealing service
